since then. I studied screen & media Studies at the University of Waikato, with a minor in political studies. While my major has limited applications to this field, my minor helps me to understand how and why certain
laws exist in the capacity they do.

Philip Ross is our contracted ERA specialist lawyer, who in addition to his legal qualifications has an engineering degree and an arts degree. Due to this background, he is able to assist in cases which have technical or scientific complexity, which combined with his experience in the authority and other courts makes him highly effective in the ERA.
